Surface Week 2: Improving Surface Appearance and Durability with SPHERILEX® Particles

This presentation has described how novel SPHERILEX® silica particles can be used to improve the surface appearance and wet scrub, burnish, stain, and metal marking resistance of architectural paints. It was also discussed how to boost the performance of traditional silica matting agents to achieve deep matte wood coatings that have significantly improved scratch, burnish and mar resistance.
