Four days of deep dives, lab tours, and vibrant exchange: The SusInkCoat Summer School brought together doctoral students, professors, and industry experts to explore one big question - how can coatings, printing inks, and additives become more sustainable?
 
The event welcomed consortium partners @AkzoNobel and Canon alongside academic institutions from the SusInkCoat research project. Participants gained insights into the area of coatings and printing inks, sustainability, regulation, and wetting agents - all while connecting scientific research with industrial application.
 
@Stefan Fischer, Program Lead at Coating Additives, summed it up perfectly: “The summer school impressively demonstrated how important direct exchange between industry and science is. Participants not only gained new knowledge, but also a clearer picture of how their research can be put into practice.”
