🎤 Conference Spotlight: Heike Semmler to Present at EC’s “Understanding PFAS and Reformulating PFAS-free Coatings”

Our colleague Heike Semmler will be speaking at the upcoming @European Coatings Conference on December 3 - 4 in Cologne.

Her presentation, titled “Deaeration & substrate wetting – alternatives to fluorinated technologies”, will explore innovative solutions for solvent-based formulations - especially in wood coatings - where fluorinated compounds have traditionally played a key role.

As regulatory pressure increases, Heike will highlight how specialty modified siloxanes and organic polymer-based additives can offer high surface quality, transparency, and reliable defoaming and deaeration across various application methods. These alternatives not only meet performance demands but also come with favorable regulatory profiles, allowing tailored solutions for specific coating needs.
